Cultivating Team Cohesion

A healthy and relaxed team dynamic is one of the most important things that we have fostered since starting Archdesign Cabinetry. We have seen the difference that a functional and efficient team can make with overall productivity and team success, especially in modern days where it’s all too easy to disconnect from those around us or get caught up in the mindset of ‘productivity over everything else’. We do our best to take a step back from our work and spend time as a team in a relaxed and fun environment.

So, we take breaks from work to bond and have fun together. That's what last weekend was all about—strengthening our team's connections.

We loaded up and those from our team that could make it spent a few days camping and playing at Kootenay Lake. It was an opportunity to step away from the day-to-day and get to know each other a little bit better. We were able to focus on recharging and just being out in nature. Time away from work can put in to perspective what is truly important in life and a few days away is the perfect way to reset and come back energized- ready to tackle the rest of the season ahead of us.

The days were spent outdoors, in the fresh air and the refreshing waters of Kootenay Lake. 

We are incredibly passionate about the work that we do and are dedicated to our trade, but nothing beats unplugging and reconnecting. We have worked hard to foster a balanced environment, and we will always be aiming higher as we continue to grow as a team.
